Not feeling grateful? Try this…

Life can be hard.
A lot of sad and painful and unfair things happen. Maybe something like that has happened to you.
Or maybe you “know” you have a lot to be grateful for, but you just don’t feel grateful right now.
Either way, it’s okay.
Let yourself feel what you feel – or not…
Your feeling side is wise. It knows what you need to pay attention to – and it helps you do that.
But sometimes it’s just too much in the moment.
So if you can “be with” and breathe with your feelings – and that’s what you want to do right now – release into that.
Or, if you find yourself resisting, relax into the resistance.
Maybe what you need to do right now is something distracting. Watch a movie. Go for a walk. Spend time with a friend – human or animal.
What I Know
If there’s something more that needs to be done, when the time is right and you are ready, you will deal with it in a way that’s right for you.
In the meantime, please care for yourself in whatever way you can in each moment.
Because, whether you believe it or not right now, the world needs you.
And the support you need will be there for you.
